  • 1962 Established Seoul Takju Manufacturers Association

  • 1987Established O-Il Enterprise Co., Ltd., as an affiliate
  • 1992Reorganized 51 breweries across Seoul into joint breweries
  • 1996Began production of Seoul Jangsoo Makkoli
    Began manufacturing carbonated, canned rice makkoli with 12 months’ shelf life
  • 2000Began manufacturing carbonated rice makkoli in PET bottles with 8 months’ shelf life
  • 2004Won official commendation as a model tax payer by National Tax Service (NTS)
  • 2005Established Seoul Jeguk as an affiliate
  • 2006Won official commendation
    as a model tax payer (NTS)

  • 2007Won official commendation as
    a model tax payer (NTS)
    Selected as an excellent Traditional liquor by the NTS
    (Jangsoo Draft Makkoli)
  • 2008Selected as one of the 10 excellent rice process food (Wolmae Makkoli) by Korea Rice Process Food Association
  • 2009Completed construction of Seongdong Joint
    Brewery
